K. S. Vinay is a senior Design and R & D leader with 32 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, including 30 years at Tata Hitachi and 2 years at BEML. He has led end-to-end product development across hydraulic excavators (2T–14T class) and backhoe loaders, covering feasibility, concept design, detailed engineering, prototyping, validation, and mass production. His career highlights include new product introduction such as the NX80 excavator, multiple generations of upgrades for key platforms, and active involvement in localization and joint development programs with global OEM teams.

At Able Design, he serves as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), where he drives the company’s technology vision, engineering strategy, and innovation roadmap. Leveraging his deep expertise in structures, hydraulics, power train integration, attachments, and value engineering, he strengthens advanced design, CAE-led development, and manufacturability-focused solutions. His leadership enables the delivery of robust, cost-effective, and production-ready engineering solutions, supporting clients across diverse industrial and mobility sectors.
